MATERIALISM

I take materialism (or physicalism) to be the doctrine that only matter exists.
I think this is not true in the common sense notion of matter or even energy.
I think George Berkeley had convincing arguments against materialism.

Another notion of materialism is about values - that wealth,
bodily satisfaction, and sensuous pleasures are the only or are the
greatest values.

I am not a materialist in this sense either.
