I’m all discouraged!!!
The world is a mess, and I can do nothing about it. I plan just to study math & philosophy (including psychology). A little good is better than great harm.

I have made great progress on these.
I gave up on 2.1 miles at once on bike. I have been trying to do over 2 miles/day combined between bike and walking. I have done a satisfactory amount of reading/programming so far this year. I have not read as much general reading as I wished. I have watched… Continue reading
I have been averaging only about 5 hours of sleep per night the last couple months. I just could not sleep more than that. Increased one medicine (with Doctor) Tuesday (March 24, 2015). Slept about 7 hours Thursday and 8.5 Friday nights. Feel much better today (Saturday).

Philosophy seems too difficult. I do plan to study history of philosophy. And history more generally. I plan to do this in parallel with physics. I don’t expect to personally discover anything new.
I have started viewing free online physics courses. And plan to do the same for math. Philosophy seems too difficult to explain – VERY tedious. I have opinions about it. I just want something easier.
I owned first one of the original nooks (3G). It still works, though there is a small crack near the page forward. I still have quite a few nook books I haven’t got to. Then I got a kindle touch – mainly for the text-to-speech. My eyes get tired and… Continue reading
