I figured out – partly from info on the web – partly from experimentation – that the behavior of arrays in maxima – especially when passed as parameters is peculiar. Still debugging – and a long way to go – but progress being made.
I have finally figured out what had been causing my trouble with arrays. Now having another problem – but I know what it is – just too tired to fix tonight.
I’ve been doing more work on my differential equations program. Mostly learning the language – maxima – better, and verifying, in a small program, that it works the way I think it does (or should).
I am enjoying this book (a criticism of linguistic philosophy) very much. I wish I read it years ago.
